Ice Rescue
It happens every year. A dog wanders out on the ice. The paniced owner rushes out to the ice edge to attempt to save the beloved pet and ends up in the same predicament. The responders at BRFD are trained through Dive Rescue International to handle this and any life threatening fall through the ice into frigid waters. A fast and safe rescue is critical to preventing the disableing effects of hypothermia and drowning. The combination of our Ice Rescuers, Paramedics and Advance Life Support (ALS) ambulance, provide for the highest chance of survival.
