Spaghetti Dinner
The 11th annual Spaghetti Dinner was held at Boulder Rural Fire Department will be held on October 24th, 2009. Thanks to the efforts of this years coordinators, the dinner and the other attractions were a huge success! The proceedes from the Spaghetti Dinner go into our Firefighters Fund. This fund is used for donations to offer support to the families of fallen or injured firefighters, community, or other causes deemed appropriate by the vote of our membership.
This event was not only a wonderful community event for all to enjoy, but also a training tool for our current rookie volunteer class. It is used as an incident command event, where the volunteers accept "positions" within the fire command structure to facilitate the Spaghetti Dinner. Our incident commander this year was Davi DiMartino along with Mark Maxwell (operations), Matt Werner (Finance), and Zach Valentiner / Blaine Nibley (Logistics). Thank you for all your support and see you next year!
